My current research areas are 1) genetic variants driving metabolic disease, 2) insulin-family hormones and 3) islet function in health and disease. I am a molecular biologist with research expertise spanning genetics, proteomics, mass spectrometry, gene expression, peptide hormones, pancreatic islet isolation and functional analysis, as well as in vivo models of metabolic disease.
